In support of China's broader opening-up strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative, and with a strong commitment to cultivating future international financial professionals, BOC is now recruiting outstanding young talents from domestic universities for internships in financial business or corresponding roles at its branches at home and abroad. Details are as follows:
I. Eligibility Criteria
i. Applicants should be students who are currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree at universities in the Chinese mainland, including students from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, as well as international students.
ii. Applicants should have an understanding of and a genuine appreciation for Chinese culture, be determined to promote cross-cultural exchange and cooperation between China and other countries/regions, and be able to meet the nationality or visa requirements for internships in the respective countries or regions.
iii. Applicants should abide by Chinese laws, regulations, and social ethics, have no criminal record, and have no record of academic misconduct, disciplinary violations, or other adverse records during their academic studies.
iv. Applicants should identify with BOC's corporate culture, demonstrate strong professional ethics and social responsibility, and adhere to all BOC's internal policies during the internship.
v. Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy, capable of adapting to domestic and overseas work environments and cross-cultural living challenges, and possess good communication skills and a team spirit.
vi. Applicants should be proficient in both English and the local official language(s).

III. Recruitment Process
i. The internship recruitment is centrally announced by the head office, while each branch is responsible for organizing applications, selection, and other subsequent processes. Applicants should submit their resumes through the designated recruitment link or to the specified email address of the relevant institution before May 31, 2026. From the opening date of applications, each institution will conduct rolling resume screening. If there is a high volume of applicants for a particular position, the relevant institution will conduct written tests, interviews, or other selection methods to identify and shortlist the most qualified candidates.
ii. Internships are generally scheduled between July and August, with exact dates to be confirmed by each branch. Interns are required to sign an internship agreement with the institution where they will undertake their internship.
iii. Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and meet BOC's campus recruitment criteria may be offered employment opportunities through the campus recruitment process.
IV. Important Notice
i. Applicants are requested to complete their resumes and related information accurately and in full, and to ensure the authenticity of all information provided. If any information is found to be inconsistent with the facts, the company reserves the right to disqualify the applicant.
