On September 10, 2025, the International College hosted Dr. Jeffrey Robens, Head of Community Engagement at Nature Portfolio and Lead Instructor of Nature Masterclasses, for an expert lecture titled “Strategies for Successful Submission.” The event was co-organized by the International College and the Foreign Students Association.
Over 150 international students attended the session, which provided practical guidance on publishing in high-impact journals. Drawing from his extensive experience at one of the world’s leading scientific publishers, Dr. Robens shared key submission strategies, insider tips, and best practices. A lively Q&A session allowed participants to pose specific questions and receive personalized advice, equipping them with essential skills to improve their chances of publication success.
The interactive discussion helped students to address common challenges and gain clarity on the submission process. A student noted, “This workshop offered a valuable opportunity for our students to learn directly from a leading expert in the field.
