At 3:00 PM, a fire safety briefing was delivered to international students, covering essential fire prevention knowledge, emergency protocols, proper use of firefighting equipment, and relevant legal obligations, ensuring participants gained a systematic understanding of fire hazards and countermeasures.

Immediately following the lecture, an evacuation drill was conducted. Under the guidance of safety volunteers, students evacuated the building swiftly via stairwells and assembled at the designated safe zone. Staff from the Security and Campus Management Office then demonstrated the techniques for operating fire extinguishers, after which students engaged in hands-on practice with controlled fires.

To guarantee a safe and smooth execution, the International College and the Security and Campus Management Office made thorough preparations, including organizing the drill logistics, mapping evacuation routes, assigning personnel, and implementing on-site safety measures. Bilingual fire safety manuals were produced and distributed to assist students in better understanding the procedures.

The event significantly elevated participants’ awareness of fire safety and honed their evacuation and self-rescue capabilities. Moving forward, the International College will reinforce fire safety education through diversified programs, fostering a safer campus environment for international student community.
