六名留学生荣获2021年度留学生学业优秀奖

中国科学技术大学

2021年度留学生学业优秀奖的评选工作顺利完成:经学生申请、国际学院教学委员会评审并在国际学院官网公示后确定了获奖名单。本年度一共有六名留学生,因在学业和科研方面表现出色,脱颖而出。11月15日,在国际楼307报告厅举行了颁奖典礼。

国际合作与交流部副部长、国际学院副院长蒋家杰、国际学院副院长Nikolas Freris、留学生办公室主任沈义竹、国际学院工作人员、获奖学生及部分在校留学生代表共同出席了此次颁奖典礼。

首先,蒋家杰副院长发表了亲切并鼓舞人心的开幕词,他充分肯定了留学生的优秀表现和积极向上的精神,衷心感谢导师们的悉心指导和关怀,并殷切希望同学们在推动社会进步的实践中努力实现个人价值,在努力成长为国际优秀人才的过程中取得更大的成就。

之后,蒋家杰副院长为六位获奖学生颁发了学业优秀奖奖状,他们分别是:Islam Mohamed Moustafa Abdellatif, Majad Mansoor, Ayesha Zahid, Amara Ilyas, Marina Hakim 和 Samina Irshad。

来自自动化系的二年级博士留学生Majad Mansoor作为获奖学生代表发表了讲话。他向在我校学习期间给予他帮助的所有人表达了衷心的感谢,包括他的导师凌强教授、实验室同学以及国际学院工作人员,并与在场的留学生们分享了自己的科研经历和心得体会。

此次颁发的学业优秀奖不仅仅是对获奖者的肯定,也是对我校所有留学生的一种激励,为其他留学生树立了良好的榜样,比学赶超、努力进取,希望留学生们都能够最终成为卓越的国际化人才。
