Yang Liang

Dr. Liang Yang is a specially appointed research fellow in the School of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Engineering Science at USTC, and the PI of the Laser Advanced Manufacturing Group. He has been selected for the “Hundred Talents Program” of CAS (Type B). He has been in systematic research on laser micro-and nanoprinting for more than one decade in the Micro Nano Engineering Laboratory of USTC, University of Hannover, Germany, and the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. A series of innovative achievements in the frontier such as the laser micro-and nanoprinting theory, technology development, single-cell research, intelligent micromechanics, and printed electronics. He has published 38 high-level papers in international journals and conferences, including 16 papers in Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, Laser Photonics Rev, Adv. Opt. Mater and Lab Chip as first author and has been the reviewer of many top international journals and professional journals including Adv. Mater., ACS Nano, Adv. Mater and Technol. He also has participated in the projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, especially five of which have been chaired by him, and several major research projects in Germany and the European Union.
